Business after Hours
Click on our Business Events tab for upcoming events : Business Events
These Member sponsored events are an excellent opportunity for members to network with the business community of Karratha and surrounding districts. New and existing KDCCI members showcase their businesses and upcoming projects. Potential KDCCI members are welcome to attend by invitation of an existing member. Generally held twice a month with anywhere from 60 to 130 attendees, these forums provide a friendly and informal occasion to interact with businesses, professional colleagues and prospective customers and clients alike.
The KDCCI will gladly assist in event managing your next Business After Hours by helping source the venue and catering arrangements, designing and distributing invitations, collecting rsvp’s, providing name tags to attendees and any other requirements to make your event successful.
A few past comments by BAH Hosts:
“Pilbara TAFE has held several Business After Hours over the years and finds them an excellent opportunity to showcase its services to the business community. Just having an opportunity for people to meet and get to know staff is advantageous and being able to host them on your premises is even better. Pilbara TAFE has had more response from clients after a Business After Hours than it has after other promotional events: Kay Gerard, Manager, Client Relations (Resource Sector), Pilbara TAFE”
“Cablelogic sees great value in hosting Business After Hour functions with the Karratha Chamber of Commerce. The ability to get to know others in the business community in a relaxed and friendly environment is invaluable. It provides an opportunity to inform the local business community about Cablelogic as a business, our products and our staff.” Della Atmore. Regional Sales Manager, Cablelogic Karratha.

Business Breakfasts / Lunch
These sessions are run by an organisation with the event management assistance of KDCCI with the purpose of a specific forum.
If your business has a service or product it can offer, why not hold a Business Breakfast so you have more time to talk specifically. Having a Business Breakfast you can address a larger crowd in the time you would see one client.
Some successful breakfast sessions in the past have been:
- Financial Advice
- Changes to legislation for businesses
- New financial year budget
- Guest speakers sharing advise on successful business operations
If either of these networking opportunities are something you think your business may be interested in, please contact us at the office.
Information Sessions and key note speakers at lunch and breakfast sessions are fast becoming the most effective way to touch a large audience base with important industry information or updates. Working with the membership to listen and edition is usually available in July. Distribution is contracted out to community groups to assist with funds for their organisation. Understand the needs of businesses in the area, we lobby and work to get people or organisations to our community. Over the time we have had many
Prominent guests and other members share their time and expertise with the KDCCI members.
