The Karratha and Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Inc) is an active, independent not for profit organisation that promotes the interests of members and the business community in the Shire of Roebourne.
The KDCCI is a founding member of the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry (WA) and affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia. These two bodies provide excellent resources and communication forums that allow the KDCCI to play an integral part in the future of Regional Western Australia. Both are powerful lobby groups for representation on state and national levels.
Our most vital asset, our members, are in excess of 320 including a large variety of organisations from resource and mining companies, government and community services to industry, retail, tourism and small businesses.
In May and June of 2009 the KDCCI Board and Staff decided to survey both members and non-members with the aim of improving the quality and direction of services offered.
These aspirations are continuing to evolve and become an integral part of the KDCCI 5 year Strategic Plan.
Our future objectives are a direct result in what our most important asset, our members and future members deemed our role to be, within the business and general community thus enhancing the Shire of Roebourne as a whole.
