KDCCI Board Room Hire

The KDCCI Board Room is available for Hire, 7 days per week.

Community & Not for profit groups are not charged for the hire of the Board Room.

A Fee applies for Business Groups, with fees to be paid at time of booking:

  • $  40 per hour
  • $ 150 half day
  • $ 250 full day

Bookings for the Board Room are extremely popular, with regular meetings booked in advance.

It is essential that if you need to cancel a booking, that you advise the KDCCI Office staff on 9144 1999

Career Central '16 - Thursday 12th May 

“Empowering People In Communities (EPIC) is bringing together industry representatives, education providers, community members and young people from throughout the Pilbara to assist in developing career pathways based on the changes and trends of our local economy.

We invite you to participate in the 2016 Careers Central.

We envisage having ‘hands on’ and interactive displays. It’s about showcasing your business and what you do, to spark enthusiasm and interest for the upcoming generations.

The event is scheduled for 12 May 2016.

Mock Crime Scene

On Sunday 1st May from 3.00pm till 6.00pm you can be a part of an exciting workshop lead by Forensic Scientist, Hadyn Green, in which you will investigate and solve a crime scene!

A little BIO about Hadyn; Haydn Green APM is the owner of Forensic Evidence Review (Australia) and an Adjunct Associate Professor at The University of Western Australia, where he teaches the post-graduate unit ‘Forensic Science and Policing’.

Hadyn has been a consultant investigator at the Office of Police Integrity in Victoria, investigating alleged police misconduct, and served in the police force for 39 years (achieving the rank of Superintendent), during which he worked in general policing, traffic enforcement, legal advising, legislative reform, investigations, and policy development.

He had extensive involvement in forensic issues at State, National and International levels and, for his efforts in forensic science and disaster victim identification, Hadyn was awarded the Australian Police Medal in the 2010 Australia Day Honours List.

He has also been awarded the National Service Medal, the Western Australia Police Medal, and the Overseas Service Medal and is currently writing a text book on forensic science matters.

Red Dog Relay

There is only 80 days until the start of the Pilbara's greatest adventure relay and festival, Red Dog Realy.  Being held 3rd - 6th June 2016.

New in 2016 is an expanded course - now 406 kilometers, the addition of a Super Team Category, Partnership with The Quarter, a Mystery Dream Team and big savings for those who register early.

Teams of four to six competitors will run, cycle, walk, swim, paddle and drive their way across some of the Australia's most picturesque landscapes including camping overnight at the Millstream Chichester National Park.

The Red Dog Relay is a fun and popular team building event with a handful of corporate teams having challenged themselves, including RIo TInto, Dampier Salt, Land Surveys, Tox Free and many more.

Those who register by 31st March 2016 will save 25% off the Team Registration fee.
