Pilbara Business Bootcamp - it's back!

ATTENTION! The Karratha and Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (KDCCI) Pilbara Business Bootcamp is back, by popular demand!

In 2015 more than 80 small to medium sized businesses enlisted in the intense, one-day training exercise designed to teach them how to survive and thrive in today’s tough economic environment.

The Bootcamp will be held at the Karratha Lesiureplex on Wednesday, 20 July 2016 and will include HIIT training sessions with some of Australia’s most respected business specialists.

KDCCI Chief Executive Officer John Lally said the Bootcamp would help  recruits tackle the biggest challenges and issues they face in the day-to-day running of their business and maximise potential for growth, development and success.

He said workshop presenters had been specially chosen to respond to a need or area of concern in the local business community.

“Across Western Australia businesses – big and small – are looking to cut costs and save money and our question to SMEs is can you really afford to just keep soldering on?”

“We want to give you the skills and know-how to implement improvements that increase profitability, productivity and efficiency!”

For the first time this year, in response to impressive growth in the region’s home-based business sector, the KDCCI will provide a special, discounted price for home-based businesses.

“As they say – from little things, big things grow,” Mr Lally said.

“Did you know that non-employing businesses or sole traders – with more than 136,000 registered businesses - are the biggest business group of its kind in Western Australia?
