KDCCI Coworking Space
Coworking Space Tenants Showcase
Recently we welcomed Eliza Carbines from Buslink Vivo into our Coworking Space
Eliza now occupies a dedicated office
Tell us a little bit about your background?
"I am originally from Victoria I’ve been in WA 9 years and Karratha 6.5 years – The Pilbara is definitely home now!"
Tell us a little bit about the company you work for?
"Buslink VIVO provides employee transport for mining and resources across Australia. Our transport solutions include logistics and scheduling, commissioning and customization of fleet, engineering, construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure, 24/7 operational support and rigorous training for all bus operators and staff. We’ve won and been finalists in multiple state and national resources and safety awards for our approach to industrial employee transport "
Has working in the Coworking Space assisted with the running of your business?
"Having just moved in at the beginning of 2018 I’ve already seen huge benefit of being in the co-working space. My own private office means I can carry out my business confidentially and can come and go without being locked into a costly ‘bricks and mortar’ office space of my own. As I spend a lot of time out of the state the Co-Working space is a permanent office location without the hassle of managing a commercial lease, outgoings, maintenance or services (like IT)"
What do you enjoy most about the KDCCI Coworking Space?
"The people!! The KDCCI are a wonderful business and the staff are fabulous. There is also the added benefit of meeting and working alongside a number of other tenants and visitors within the space, one of which I’ve already connected with professionally as our businesses have a lot in common. I’m very much looking forward to spending 2018 with the crew here"
If you would like to join Eliza and the rest of our crew, we have desks, offices, and meeting rooms all available for hire - long term or short term
Contact Carla or Kim on 9144 1999 or email email@example.com for more details.

Project Update - Rio Tinto "intelligent" iron ore mine
Rio Tinto will next year seek board approval to develop an "intelligent" iron ore mine at a cost of $2.2 billion.
It will fully incorporate technologies such as robotics and driverless trains and trucks on a single site, the company's head of iron ore said on Monday.
A feasibility study was under way to demonstrate the economics behind developing the Koodaideri mine in the Pilbara region, said iron ore chief executive Chris Salisbury.
The mine location is near Karijini, between Karratha & Newman.
