John Lally is the CEO of Karratha Districts Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Deputy Mayor of the City of Karratha. John has lived and worked in the Pilbara region for the last 30 years and has wide experience in education, small business and local Government.
John is an active member of the local community and is Chair of Karratha Senior High School and Pegs Creek Primary School Boards, Member of the Governing Council of the North Regional TAFE ; Director of the Centre of Whale Research Inc (WA); and Commodore and Life Member of the Hampton Harbour Boat & Sailing Club, Dampier.
John received formal recognition for his contribution to the local community being a life member of the Dampier Community Association , Karratha Citizen of the Year in 2016 and twice being a WA Finalist in the "Australian of the Year".
Kim moved to Karratha in 2006 from South Australia. She gained extensive knowledge of the area by working at the City of Karratha for over 6 years, and being the Secretary of the Nor West Jockey Club. She has a shared belief in the value and achievability of the KDCCI’s goals. Kim has exceptional skills in customer service & event management; a keen eye for detail; lots of determination and a positive attitude. Kim loves the Pilbara lifestyle, but hopes to retire on Kangaroo Island South Australia one day.
